Aurum Growth Partners — Institutional Website · Strategic Consulting

Concept project built by ALB Seven. Aurum Growth Partners is a fictional consultancy. The project answers a design question: what would the site of a strategy firm look like if it charged premium rates and had no interest in pleasing everyone?
The challenge
High-ticket services have an inverted conversion problem. The goal isn't the largest number of enquiries, it's a small number of right ones, filtering out everybody else before they consume sales time. The design has to qualify.
Design decisions
- Obsidian and gold. Deep black ground with gold detailing. A deliberate choice of high contrast and low saturation, it signals selectivity before a word is read.
- Heavy serif typography for headings, quiet sans for body. Serifs carry tradition and authority; they are the opposite of startup aesthetics.
- Copy that filters. The page talks about "7 to 8-figure brands" and "conversion engineering" right away. Anyone who doesn't fit understands immediately and leaves, which is the intended outcome.
- Low density. Generous whitespace, few sections, a single CTA. A short page is a confidence claim: those who need to convince write a lot.
- Built in React with a production bundle and no third-party UI dependencies.
What this project demonstrates
That design is positioning. The same information in a different palette and typeface would sell a mid-priced service. Form communicates price before the pricing table does.
