Healthcare

Websites for clinics and private practices

For doctors, dentists, psychologists and other healthcare professionals who need to be found in search and come across as trustworthy without breaching their own council's rules.

    What usually goes wrong

Patients rarely arrive by searching for the professional's name. They search for "dentist near me" or "online psychologist that takes my insurance" and pick from the first three results that quickly answer what they need: where it is, whether it treats their case, how to book and how long the wait is.

Most practices still rely on Instagram and word of mouth. The profile shows the work, but it does not appear in that search, does not explain specialties clearly and makes the patient wait for a DM reply for something one click could solve.

When there is a website, the problem is often the opposite: a generic template, slow on mobile, full of outcome promises and stock photos. Besides not converting, that kind of copy can breach the professional council's advertising rules.

    What a healthcare website needs

This is not a list of extras. It is what patients look for before deciding.

    Visible professional credentials

Name, council registration number and specialty with RQE where applicable. Brazil's CFM requires these details on doctors' advertising. For patients, it is the first sign the site is serious.

One page per specialty or treatment

Someone searching for "root canal" wants a page about root canals, not the home page. Each page explains what it is, who it is for and how the appointment works, in plain patient language.

    Frictionless booking

A WhatsApp button or an integration with the scheduling tool the practice already uses, at the top and bottom of every page. Patients should never have to hunt for how to book.

    Address, map and insurance

Full address, map, parking, building accessibility and the list of accepted insurance plans. That is what decides between two options in the same area.

    Educational content, not hype

Articles that answer real patient questions help the site rank and fit within council rules, which separate information from promises.

    Privacy from the first form

Health data is sensitive data under Brazil's LGPD. The contact form should not ask for symptoms or history, and the privacy policy must say what is collected and why.

    Each council's rules, in short

Doctors follow CFM Resolution 2,336/2023, in force since March 2024. It treats websites and blogs as the doctor's own social media, requires name, CRM number and, where applicable, specialty with RQE on advertising, and now allows some practices that were previously banned, always with an informative purpose.

Dentists follow the Dental Code of Ethics and CFO Resolution 196/2019, which allowed selfies and images of diagnosis and final treatment results, with patient consent. Images of the procedure itself remain off limits.

Psychologists follow the Psychologist's Code of Professional Ethics. Article 20 forbids, among other things, using the price of the service as advertising and promising definite results. CRP-MG published a dedicated guide on professional advertising in 2026.

This summary does not replace reading the rules or guidance from your regional council. What ALB Seven does is design the site so these requirements are planned from the first layout, rather than discovered after launch.

    Official sources

    How ALB Seven builds it

    Copy reviewed against the rules

Every page goes through a review that looks for outcome promises, superlatives and unsourced figures before it goes live.

    HTML ready for Google

Pages are prerendered: search engines and AI assistants receive the full content on the first request, without depending on JavaScript.

    Local SEO configured

MedicalBusiness or Dentist structured data, name, address and phone identical to the Google Business Profile, and pages designed for neighbourhood searches.

    Everything in the practice's name

Domain, code, Analytics and Search Console are registered to the professional or the clinic. Changing vendors does not mean starting over.

    Frequently asked questions

Can I show consultation prices on the site?

It depends on the council. CFM Resolution 2,336/2023 now allows doctors to publish consultation fees. For psychologists, the Code of Ethics forbids using price as advertising. Before publishing any price, we confirm the rule for your profession.

Can I publish before and after photos?

For dentists, CFO Resolution 196/2019 allows images of diagnosis and final results with patient consent. For doctors, the 2023 resolution only allows this with an educational purpose and under specific criteria. Either way, the site should never present the image as a promised outcome.

    Does the website replace Instagram?

No, they do different jobs. Instagram keeps people who already know you close. The website is what shows up for people who do not know you yet and are searching on Google or asking an AI assistant.

Do you set up online booking?

We connect the site to the practice's WhatsApp or to the scheduling system you already use, when it offers a booking link or widget. We do not recommend building a new scheduling system just for the website.

Do you work outside Belo Horizonte?

Yes. We work in person in the Belo Horizonte metropolitan area and remotely across Brazil and abroad.

Shall we talk about your project?

Tell us what your business does and for whom. The first conversation is about understanding the goal, not selling a package.
